Ship Supplies Claim

In 2020, our consultancy successfully handled a charter-party dispute involving ship supplies, with a total claim value of AED 2.13 million. The conflict arose between a vessel owner and a charterer, who had assumed full responsibility for ship provisioning under the charter agreement, yet failed to fulfill those obligations—causing operational disruption and financial loss.

Led by our head consultant, Capt. Saeed Al Suleej Al Falasi, a distinguished Commercial Arbitrator and Marine Expert, our team conducted a detailed analysis of the contractual terms, vessel operations, and supply chain documentation. We provided:

  • Forensic-level evaluation of charter terms
  • Technical breakdown of the vessel’s operational needs
  • Legal consultancy on liabilities related to marine supplies
  • Strategic support throughout the arbitration process

Through Capt. Saeed’s expert testimony and negotiation skills, the matter was closed successfully, protecting the shipowner’s rights and securing financial redress.
