Ship Capsize

In 2019, Through a team headed by “Capt. Saeed Al Suleej Al Falasi”  was engaged to investigate and resolve a high-profile ship capsize incident that occurred during cargo operations. The event involved significant vessel turnover and raised complex liability questions across multiple stakeholders.

With a claim amount exceeding AED 55 million, our role required a deep dive into cargo handling procedures, stability assessments, and compliance with international maritime safety regulations. We conducted a comprehensive forensic review, including on-site inspections, document analysis, and expert interviews.

Our findings played a pivotal role in dispute resolution by identifying operational oversights, establishing liability, and helping our client navigate the complexities of insurance and arbitration processes.

Thanks to our strategic guidance and decades of maritime expertise, the case was successfully closed, protecting our client’s interests and restoring operational confidence.
